The Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care Ehsan participated, together with the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, one of the centers affiliated with Qatar Social Work Foundation and all entities in the country, in marking World Autism Day. The Center participated in the celebration of World Autism Day, which was approved by the United Nations General Assembly in its resolution No. 62/139 of 2007 and falls on the second of April of each year. The United Nations organized a virtual event on April 8th to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, under the slogan "Inclusive Quality Education for All", by lighting prominent buildings and landmarks in countries all over the world in blue to highlight autism.
